What a hot-tub wiring quote should clarify

Compare equipment-specific scope, site work and closeout—not a generic installation price.

List what is included

Ask the provider to identify the model basis, capacity assessment, route, electrical work, permits, inspection and commissioning included in the proposal. Separate supplier work from contractor work. Missing information is an open question, not an assumed inclusion.

Clarify access and site work

Record excavation, penetrations, lifting/positioning, restoration and access permissions where relevant. Ask which costs depend on further assessment or utility review. Do not approve a change solely because the delivery date is approaching; clarify the responsible parties and actual requirements.

Compare the handover

Ask what manuals, settings, inspection records and owner demonstration are included. Confirm the provider’s warranty and support boundaries directly. HAUSE’s planning tool does not create a contractor warranty, a price commitment or a booked installation.

Questions to take forward

  • What depends on site assessment?
  • Who owns restoration and equipment positioning?
  • What records are delivered at closeout?
