Used and relocated spas: rebuild the evidence file
Known equipment history does not automatically validate a new location.

Establish identity and records
Request the exact model, relevant manuals and any available service history. Keep unavailable records marked unknown. Ask a qualified professional what review is appropriate before planning an installation; the seller’s reassurance is not an assessment of the proposed site.
Treat the new setting separately
Document the intended location, supply, route and supporting arrangement. Ask the responsible professionals which permissions and inspections apply. Do not reuse technical installation assumptions from a different property or model.
Plan transport through commissioning
Clarify who disconnects, moves, reinstalls and commissions the equipment, and how condition or missing-information findings affect the scope. Do not interpret the planner as operating instructions or attempt electrical work to establish whether the used spa functions.
Questions to take forward
- Is the exact equipment identity confirmed?
- Which earlier records are relevant to this site?
- Who coordinates the full move and recommissioning?
